About Merge9.

Merge9 began as the commercial side of Union Eleven, a portrait and headshot studio located in downtown Ottawa. As our commercial business grew, we realized that it deserved its own brand. Thus, Merge9 was founded.

We now offer a suite of commercial video and photo services. We have a professional studio space in the Glebe and create content for many private and public enterprises in the Ottawa area.

Andrew Geddes

A Biomedical Engineer by training, Andrew put his degree to absolutely zero use and immediately started a photography company upon graduating.

Andrew has photographed all across Canada, and now leads Merge9’s video projects.

Derrick Rice

Derrick is the Photography Lead at Merge9. He’s taught photography at one of the most respected workshops in North America, and has numerous awards to his name.
